Insurance options for self storage

You do need to insure your goods while they are in storage.  You have two choices of how to insure the goods:

1. You can arrange your own policy via your broker or some other third party. If you want to do this, we will need to see an original of your policy on the day that you move into storage - we cannot accept a promise to send the document on later.
2. We can cover your goods under our own insurance policy for a small charge. You can see a summary of the coverage we can provide here.

We charge £1.00 per week for £1000 of goods in storage, but this rate drops (dramatically) if you are insuring more than £5,000-10,000.

We will need a full inventory of your goods whether you are taking our insurance or not.
